How do you remove hair at home with the Luxor IPL device?
- 1. Shave the area to be treated
- 2. Set the intensity to match your skin tone
- 3. Put on the protective goggles
- 4. Set the device to automatic or manual mode
- 5. Touch the device to the skin area to be treated
- 6. Finish by moisturizing your skin
Please note:
- IPL hair removal is not suitable for all skin and hair types. Very light hair and very dark skin cannot be treated with an IPL hair removal device, and this treatment should not be used on skin with many moles or freckles.
- After IPL hair removal treatment, the treated skin area must be protected from sunlight, tanning beds, and tanning lotions
- Only use the flash-based hair removal treatment if your skin and hair types are suitable! Skin type: fair to tan; hair type: black to light brown.
- Do not look directly at the flashing light during treatment; if treating your face (mustache, sideburns), wear protective eyewear!
- Do not use the device near water; it cannot be used in the bathtub or shower. If the IPL hair removal device does come into contact with water, turn it off immediately for your own safety!
- Be patient and wait a few months until, as a result of regular hair removal treatments, you are able to get rid of 80–90% of your body hair!
